HELLO EVERYONE!
I just got back from an incredible conference of the International Coach Federation in Montreal Canada.
One of the many things that I take away from this conference is a sense of being part of a larger community. I also take and am inspired to focus on my local community. I have had the honor and privilege of being chapter president of the Heartland Coaches Association for the past 2 years. We have accomplished many things which I am extremely proud of and forever grateful for. I’m mostly grateful and humbled. Humbled at the humanity I get to see in other coaches as we all move forward in this effort to have an impact on the world. So I invite you all to come experience and revel in that community. I invite everyone to think about how community plans a role and shows up in your life. I know I feel more alive and bigger when I’m doing something in community than when I’m focused on my own agenda and business. It is exactly that feeling of belonging to something bigger than myself that I have come to realize is not just how I show up in the world but how I move through it. My light grows brighter when I’m in the presence of other lights. So I invite you to come increase our level of light in the world. Come be part of my community, come share something of yourself.
The next meeting of Heartland Coaches is Dec. 5th where we will be celebrating some of our accomplishments, we will be patting each other on the back and saying good job. We will be discussing the ICF conference and what and how that plays a role in our profession. Mostly though we will be present with each other in the community of coaching sharing of ourselves, inspiring each other to live and dream bigger, and supporting each other as we work through the obstacles that we all encounter on the way to those big dreams.
