Yippee!!! My small geo-specific Kansas City, Missouri Coaching business became a popular place on Google Maps. 

I now have this really cool sticker on the front door. I almost threw it away because I’m a home based business and I thought it was tacky. However, the letter that accompanied the sticker said, that because Inner Strength Quest Coaching has had so many people requesting information about it’s business listing we have made you a Google Favorite Place on Google Maps. So I thought maybe I should read up on this and see just how much attention I should pay to it. Here is what I found….

Using Type with Couples

Happy and unhappy marriages are found in all type combinations, and type differences and similarities are likely to be only one of several sources of difficulty in a relationship. Regardless of the nature of such other difficulties, a comparison of the couples’ personality types by a counselor can enhance the therapeutic process and increase the likelihood of a successful outcome.

Customer relations management just naturally comes to some business owners but others struggle to keep it as a number one priority. I see it often, that blank stare. Usually during a training when I start explaining too companies and business owners about how they need to change the way they interact with their customers. Business owners have been told that they can choose how to run their own business.

I’ve been pondering how to be authentic in my personal and public image in regards to marketing. I ran across an old assignment that I was given in my coach training and feel like it reflects who I am and how I try to be in the world. These are my values in my personal life and also in my coaching work with clients.

I’m reading through this months Inc. magazine publication and I have already earmarked 5 pages of things I need to follow up on because they can help me both grow my own business but also help my clients. The first of which is a blogger choosing not to blog any more, the company he feels  has outgrown the blog. What, blasphemy I say. But I move on and stored it in my brain to come back too later.

I’m struck as I read an (e-mail) interview with Mark Cuban.  Mark is a billionaire entrepreneur so if he says something I’m going to listen and process it. It may or may not be the right fit for me, but I still give him the respect that he knows what he is talking about.

Let the stalking begin. Get ready. I’m on a mission. I plan on getting to know these people. I’ve always said networking is not about how many cards you hand out or collect, it’s about building relationships.

I had such a great time and am so happy I had the ability to stop by the Happy Hour over at Waldo Pizza with some of Kansas City’s blogging community. I got to meet some people I
